Today we headed out to Pismo Beach! We brought Fernando's sister along with us. It was an interesting trip. The boys did good for the most part but we had a little emergency...Caleb announced he had to poop in the potty. Luckily the rest stop was up ahead at the moment. Well, it was a false alarm. About 20 min later, he announced it again and the sound of his voice let us know he meant now! There were no stores, rest areas or anywhere we could pull over. My poor Caleb was uncomfortable in the back seat because he had to go. I made Fernando pull over & I had no choice but to have poor Caleb go alongside the road. I know this sounds disgusting, & you may be thinking "why is she writing this?" Well, it was a moment to remember. Caleb has never had to squat down to have a BM like that ever in his life. He didn't want to do it & the innocense in his face was cute. I won't go into more detail than this although there is more to say. Anyway, a older man pulled over to see if we were ok (caleb had finished his business) and Caleb says "he has to poop too?" hahaha OMG the way he said it was hilarious. From now on he might think that everyone who pulls over has to use the restroom.
When we arrived to Pismo, we walked up & down the pier. Caleb wanted to use his CARS fishing pole so we let him go fishing. That is all he wanted to do all day. His mission was to catch Nemo & Dory but he had no success. Overall, it was a good day. It sure beats being home frustrated with the heat. Here are some pics
